Job summary

PCS Gulf excels in IT and financial consulting, driving value through Azure-based API design and modern microservice patterns. The role requires strong Node JS development and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Azure solutions.

You will collaborate with product and design teams to migrate older projects to Azure, integrate with JSON/XML backends, and perform thorough unit testing to ensure robustness.

Qualifications

• 3 years in SQL Server TSQL / Cosmos DB
• 3 years of experience in Node JS
• 2 years in Microservice implementation
• Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced, scalable API on Azure.
• Ability to understand business requirements and map to latest Azure features.
• Implementation with Azure components is highly preferred.
• Must have excellent programming knowledge of Node JS.
• Act as a consultant to team members on technical matters.
• Ability to work on an older project and migrate it to Azure environment.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate end-user requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate with backend services (JSON, XML, etc.).
• Investigate issues thoroughly.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases and reliability.
• Read and update code written by other developers.
