Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant Vice President for Islamic Coverage to drive new client acquisition and onboarding. You will develop relationships with corporate clients and tailor Shariah-compliant financing solutions.

The role requires strong Islamic banking expertise, deal origination, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver Murabaha, Ijarah and Sukuk transactions on time while ensuring regulatory and Shariah compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial services, including client acquisition and transaction execution.
• Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and generating business growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective Islamic banking clients.
• Lead client meetings and onboarding of new clients.
• Structure and execute Shariah-compliant transactions (Murabaha, Ijarah, Sukuk).
• Provide Islamic financial solutions aligned to client objectives.
• Monitor performance and report on business development results.
