Job summary

GAL is seeking a technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft electrical systems, following technical publications and regulations. You will support the maintenance team and unit operations, ensuring readiness and compliance.

You will also complete all required records and provide on-the-job training to trainees, helping them develop the skills needed to become self-sufficient in aircraft electrical repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems in line with applicable technical publications and regulations.
• Assist in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
• Complete forms, records and documents recording maintenance activities per policies and procedures.
• Impart knowledge and on-the-job training to customer trainees to enable future self-sufficiency.
• Carry out tasks assigned by Supervisor to support maintenance team and unit operations.

Job description

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations
