VHR Global Technical Recruitment is seeking a Technical Writer to support an aviation engineering and maintenance organisation in Dubai. You will develop, review and maintain technical procedures and work instructions, converting legacy materials into clear, structured documents aligned with regulatory and safety standards.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, manage documentation via a Document Management System, and support process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience producing technical documentation in aviation or engineering environments.
• Strong technical writing, editing, and document control skills.
• Knowledge of structured authoring principles and technical documentation standards.
• Basic understanding of airline engineering and maintenance operations.
• Experience using document management systems and digital publishing tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, review, and maintain technical procedures and work instructions.
• Convert legacy documentation into structured procedures and visual process maps.
• Author, format, publish, and manage documentation through the Document Management System.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture technical knowledge and operational processes.
• Support process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate, consistent, and accessible.
• Update procedures following operational, regulatory, or process changes.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) activities and promote a positive safety culture.
