Job summary

Emirates in Dubai seeks a Technical Services Engineer I (Airframe/Mechanical Systems) to provide fleet technical management and continuing airworthiness support for Emirates fleet. You will review regulatory documents, assess in-service data and drive maintenance program improvements.

Qualifications

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
10+ years of experience in Engineering, Aeronautical.
Licence or degree in Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
Related Aircraft Engineering experience.
Minimum 8 years in Technical Services with Emirates fleet exposure.
Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends.
Ability to analyse and synthesise technical information for cost-effective implementation.
Excellent drafting/report writing skills.
Proven experience in managing complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management and technical support for Airframe/Mechanical Systems.
Routinely evaluate manufacturers/regulatory authorities’ technical documents, taking appropriate actions and update internal engineering documents.
Review in-service data and implement actions to improve fleet, engine, component and/or system reliability and maintainability.
Deliver technical assistance and operational support in disruptions including technical/AOG and defective issues.
Carry out Emirates Engineering design organisational activities and deviations from manufacturing documents.
Provide support for acquisition of new Aircraft and end of lease activities.
Act as a technical liaison with Manufacturers and internal stakeholders to address faults and design issues.
Provide technical clarifications/justification to support cost optimisation and contracts.
Carry out project management for major modifications, retrofits and budget proposals.
Review and analyse technical data to support KPIs and improvement proposals.
