Job summary
Ducont in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in manual, API, and database testing to join our technology team in the aviation sector. The role requires practical experience with Departure Control Systems (DCS), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), and Flight Disruption Handling systems, along with strong knowledge of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
Immediate availability is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Hands-on in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing.
- Strong SQL querying skills.
- Experience with defect management lifecycles.
- Familiar with SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
- Mandatory hands-on aviation domain experience.
- Knowledge of DCS, BHS, Flight Disruption Handling Systems.
- Immediate availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing across software applications and systems.
- Conduct API testing and validate API responses and integrations.
- Perform database testing using SQL queries.
- Identify, document, and track defects through the lifecycle.
- Execute functional and integration testing.
- Validate functionality against requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams.
- Apply aviation domain knowledge during testing.
- Test and validate aviation-related systems and workflows.
