Job summary

ADNOC Aviation in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Manager of Aviation Operations to oversee into-plane and depot/hydrant activities across Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates region. You will drive compliance with IATA standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with JV partners and customers.

The role requires extensive experience in aviation fuel facilities, strong leadership, and the ability to optimize operating costs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across all airports.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience managing aviation fuel facilities and operations.
• 6 years in managerial roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or commerce.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for delivery of additional aviation services and ensure customer invoicing and payment.
• Maintain credit & carnet customer lists and ensure services are delivered only to permitted customers.
• Manage cash collection from non-credit customers and cheque collection from credit customers.
• Coordinate with JV partners and represent ADNOC Aviation in JV airports.
• Prepare, monitor, and control departmental capital & operating budgets.
• Ensure delivery of into-plane services like aircraft refuelling & defueling as per IATA Service Level Agreement.
• Estimate sales at all airports within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure adequate resources and personnel allocation, including preparation of duty rosters.
• Ensure on-time renewal of vehicle registrations and personnel/material passes.
• Maintain IATA recommended stock levels and coordinate with the refinery for fuel availability.
• Preserve aviation fuel integrity from receipt to delivery.
• Perform incident investigations for accidents, product losses, or customer complaints and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage external and internal quality audits conducted by clients, airport agencies, and third parties.
• Monitor manpower and operating expenses, developing strategies to optimize operational costs.
• Oversee infrastructure upgrades and development of aviation fuel depots.
