Job summary

Sanad Aero Solutions Gmbh in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Engineer – Engineering Production Support (Laboratory) to lead independent chemical and metallurgical testing for our special process workshops and third-party customers.

You will validate test results, ensure UAE GCAA, FAA, EASA and internal TPM/MOE standards compliance, document findings, and mentor junior staff while driving continuous improvement in laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in chemical or metallurgical laboratories.
• Experience with aviation regulatory frameworks (GCAA, FAA, EASA) is preferred.
• Proficiency with ASTM, ISO, AMS standards and lab testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced metallurgical and chemical tests following OEM specifications and international standards (ASTM, ISO, AMS).
• Prepare, review, and approve detailed metallurgical and chemical test reports; lead investigations.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; calibrate and maintain lab equipment; manage chemical inventories.
• Drive development of new laboratory capabilities, test methods, and process validation; participate in technical trials and innovations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Associate Engineers and Technicians; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
