Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services Technician to perform aircraft ground handling and servicing tasks at a designated site in support of TAS operations. The role covers arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing and turn‑around to enable mission readiness and timely departures.

The position requires strict safety adherence, compliance with the PWS and Technical Orders, and the ability to operate in austere environments with 24/7/365 coverage. A SECRET clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Maintain operational continuity across rotations.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ZERO Harm workplace and follow flight line safety requirements.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning per Technical Orders.
• Execute arrival/departure services including chocking and grounding.
• Conduct aircraft servicing for turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in launch and recovery operations with Supervisors and Airfield Management.
• Inspect and service equipment and vehicles used in TAS operations.
• Ensure tools and equipment are accounted for and safe.
• Participate in FOD prevention and routine line inspections.
• Follow Technical Orders, safety directives, and SOPs during servicing.
• Communicate with Supervisors and team to ensure safe execution.
• Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Support documentation like servicing records and shift logs.
