Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Design Engineer to transform customer needs into actionable AV system designs and detailed documentation. You will partner with sales teams and Account Managers to understand requirements, assess risks, and communicate with stakeholders.

The role focuses on presenting solutions and delivering precise design packages for successful project execution. Responsibilities include labor estimates, BOM creation, and coordination with contractors while ensuring compliance with AV/IT

Qualifications

Must have strong problem-solving skills and risk awareness.
Excellent stakeholder communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy and quality of designs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Account Managers to translate requirements into system designs.
Explain design concepts to clients during pre-sales discussions.
Develop and maintain design standards packages for large accounts.
Create detailed system documentation including BOMs and diagrams.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to align designs with project constraints.
Support project teams as the design authority during execution.
