Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to transform customer needs into actionable AV system designs and precise documentation. You will partner with Account Managers to understand requirements, assess risks, and communicate with stakeholders.

You will present solutions, create comprehensive design packages, and ensure feasibility and accuracy for successful project execution through collaboration with the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AV systems and documenting designs.
• Knowledge of IP networking and AV/IT standards.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers to translate requirements into system designs.
• Prepare labor estimates and material requirements for proposals.
• Develop design standards packages for large accounts.
• Create detailed system documentation, BOMs, and diagrams.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to align with project constraints.
• Act as design authority during implementation.
