Job summary

Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Vehicle Operations Manager to lead the expanding AV remote operations team for driverless delivery. You will manage the two-mode roster, enforce safety/quality floors and optimize how many vehicles each operator can handle.

The role requires 3–5 years in AV remote operations and 2+ years of people management, with ownership of a frontline team (30+ staff). On-site work in Abu Dhabi, candidates may relocate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in AV remote operations and teleoperation.
• 2+ years of people management in frontline safety teams.
• Full-cycle ownership of a frontline team (30+ staff) with training/QA.
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive safety car.
• Strong English language skills; based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicles-per-operator ratio and roster utilisation.
• Oversee attendance, shift scheduling and onboarding pace as team grows to ~85.
• Lead training, certification and QA across frontline staff.
• Develop escalation paths and safety-car allocation.
• Hire, mentor and promote team leads from within.
