Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks an Vehicle Operations Manager to lead an autonomous delivery operations team on-site.

You will scale the team from dozens to about 85 operators, own safety/quality standards, and optimize vehicles-per-operator ratio. Must have 35 years in AV remote operations with leadership experience. English fluency and UAE driving license are required. Visa sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• 35 years in AV remote operations, including 2 years managing people.
• Hands-on or management experience with AV safety operator team cockpit/on-road.
• Frontline team ownership: recruitment, rostering, training and QA system from scratch.
• Valid driving licence and data pulling using SQL/BI or AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Owns Vehicles-per-operator ratio and attendance across two-mode roster.
• Leads onboarding pace and attrition as the team scales to ~85 operators.
• Oversees training certification and QA, promoting team leads from within.
• Manages escalation ladder for safety-car allocation when conflicts occur.
