Job summary

TradesApp is seeking a Technical Support professional to assist in testing and operation of autonomous vehicles, collaborating with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth daily testing schedules.

The role focuses on supporting vehicle software/version updates, testing scenarios, routes and stop configurations, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and clear communication between technical and operational groups in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical background within automotive, engineering, IT, autonomous vehicles or a related field is preferred.
• Experience supporting technical testing, QA, R&D or vehicle operations would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of software and technology-based systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively between technical and operational teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology and automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with R&D and QA teams regarding autonomous vehicle testing activities.
• Provide operational feedback to relevant technical teams.
• Support validation of vehicle version iteration results.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of different vehicle testing scenarios.
• Support route and stop configuration requirements for daily testing.
• Ensure technical preparations support daily vehicle testing schedules.
• Coordinate vehicle software/version updates.
• Ensure required vehicle updates are completed in a timely manner.
• Identify and communicate technical or operational issues affecting testing activities.
• Support continuous improvement of autonomous vehicle testing and operational processes.
