Job summary

UVL Robotics seeks a hands-on drone operator to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot drones/quadcopters in the Gulf region. FPV flight experience and knowledge of drone regulations are preferred. Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant field work and a strong work ethic.

The role requires leading on-site flight operations, coordinating with engineering and sales, and delivering weekly reports. Full-time, on-site position based in the UAE region.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling, operating, and troubleshooting drones/quadcopters.
• Experience flying drones (FPV, preferably).
• Familiarity with rules and regulations regarding drone use.
• Knowledge of autopilot software (Betaflight, ArduPilot).
• Familiarity with radio service and radio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and become proficient in UVL Robotics’ autonomous drone system technology.
• Lead flight and system operations at sites, prioritizing safety.
• Interface directly with engineering and sales to ensure in-field operations are completed on schedule and meet expectations.
• Work independently on-site with minimal supervision.
• Provide input to the engineering and sales teams on system operation, performance, and any related issues.
• Provide necessary reports on a weekly basis and participate in proposals related to new projects.
