Job summary

Partner Automotive Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Solutions Architect to drive open-source automotive solutions. You will combine Linux, embedded systems, and software development to solve complex customer challenges across presales, design, demos, POCs, and delivery.

Collaboration with cloud, Kubernetes, security, safety, and embedded experts will shape customer solutions and market opportunities. Travel up to 30% is expected for customer meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive industry.
• Extensive Linux experience (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
• Embedded Linux exposure with Yocto and RTOS.
• Strong programming in Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Excellent English plus local language proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Engage with automotive customers during presales to understand requirements and explain technologies.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for open-source automotive platforms.
• Collaborate with cloud, Kubernetes, security, safety, and embedded specialists to craft solutions.
• Participate in Embedded Linux projects, demos, prototypes, and POCs.
• Translate market needs into actionable insights for engineering and product teams.
• Develop and refine reusable technical solutions for automotive market opportunities.
• Support cloud-enabled software-defined vehicle initiatives in embedded environments.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
