Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in the UAE seeks a Planning Engineer (Production Planning – Automotive) to develop and manage production plans, optimise schedules and coordinate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Quality to meet demand and targets.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive or manufacturing planning, with strong ERP/MRP experience and a proven track record in lean initiatives and KPI reporting. Dubai-based position offering growth within a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
Professional qualifications in Supply Chain, Production Planning or Lean/CI are desirable.
Minimum 5 years in production or material planning in automotive/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain short, medium and long term production plans aligned with demand forecasts and capacity.
Create detailed shop floor schedules and release production jobs to meet delivery schedules.
Monitor schedule adherence, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate material planning with procurement and suppliers to avoid stockouts.
Maintain MPS and communicate changes to stakeholders in a timely manner.
