Job summary

R&B Fashion in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Warehouse Automation Engineer to lead system design, optimization and the integration of automated material handling equipment.

You will program PLCs, configure SCADA interfaces, oversee maintenance and troubleshooting with technicians, support installation projects, ensure safety compliance, and deliver clear performance documentation and KPI reports to management.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in warehouse or industrial automation engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with PLC programming, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with automated conveyors, sortation systems, and WMS integrations.
• Exposure to CMMS and Industry 4.0 concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Design & Optimization: design and optimize automation systems for warehouse operations.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: lead root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance with technicians.
• Project Implementation & Support: assist planning, testing, and commissioning of new automation installations.
• Safety & Compliance: ensure safety standards and risk mitigation for automated zones.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain logs and develop manuals, training content, and KPI reports.
