Job summary

Apparel Group in Dubai, UAE seeks an Automation Maintenance Technician - Warehouse Systems to maintain and troubleshoot automated warehouse equipment and industrial control systems. You will support conveyors, sorters, pick and pack stations, ASRS, PLC-based systems, sensors and actuators to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse automation systems.
Working knowledge of electrical systems and control panels.
Experience with PLC diagnostics.
Understanding of mechanical drive systems.
Experience with automated conveyors, sorters, ASRS, or similar equipment.
IT literacy for basic diagnostics, system updates and maintenance tracking.
Experience with WMS-integrated automation equipment and HMI interfaces preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on warehouse automation systems.
Maintain conveyors, sorters, pick and pack stations, ASRS, and PLC-based equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults to minimize downtime.
Diagnose issues involving electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, and mechanical drives.
Calibrate sensors, actuators, and electrical components per standards.
Identify recurring faults and support corrective measures.
