Job summary

WAVES Pools & Landscaping LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in swimming pool design and construction drawings. You will prepare accurate 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings while coordinating with engineers, project managers and site teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in pool construction, and is proficient in AutoCAD 2D.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, drafting or related field.
• 2–5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in swimming pool construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of swimming pool construction methods, structural details, plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for residential and commercial swimming pool projects
• Develop layout plans, sections, elevations and construction details
• Produce shop drawings for pool structures, piping, filtration systems and associated MEP works
• Revise drawings based on engineer, architect or client comments
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and consultants to ensure drawing accuracy
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Maintain drawing records and documentation
• Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations and company standards
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required
