Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman to oversee the execution of swimming pool, water feature, and hard landscaping projects in the UAE. You will prepare construction and shop drawings with a keen eye for detail, coordinating across Civil, Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Landscape disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Drafting with 4-6 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in AutoCAD and drafting

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in swimming pool, water feature, and hard landscaping projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting standards.
• Good understanding of civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and landscape coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction drawings for swimming pools, water features, and hard landscaping projects.
• Develop layout drawings, section details, reinforcement drawings, finishing details, setting-out drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate drawings across Civil, Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Landscape disciplines.
• Review project specifications, design documents, and consultant requirements; ensure drawings meet standards and construction requirements.
• Collaborate with project engineers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors; revise drawings based on site conditions and changes.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

We are recruiting on behalf of a landscaping and water feature contractor for an experienced Civil Draftsman to oversee the execution of swimming pool, water feature, and hard landscaping projects.This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented drafting professional with strong technical expertise in preparing construction and shop drawings for high-quality outdoor, landscape, and aquatic projects.

Candidate profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in: Swimming pool projects, Water feature construction, Hard landscaping works
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting standards
• Good understanding of civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and landscape coordination
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction drawings for swimming pools, water features, and hard landscaping projects
• Develop: Layout drawings, Section details, Reinforcement drawings, finishing details, Setting-out drawings, Detailed construction drawings, As-built drawings
• Coordinate drawings across multiple disciplines, including Civil, Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Landscape
• Review project specifications, design documents, and consultant requirements. Ensure drawings comply with project standards and construction requirements
• Collaborate closely with project engineers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors. Revise and update drawings based on site conditions and project changes
• Maintain accurate drawing records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• UAE Driving license with own car will be an advantage
