Job summary

XAD Technologies is seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare, modify, and maintain civil and telecom drawings in Sharjah. You will coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure accuracy and timely submissions for execution and approvals.

Responsibilities include creating layouts (trenches, ducts, handholes, manifolds, fiber routes), reviewing site inputs, and maintaining drawing records. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and knowledge of Revit are required; 2–5 years of drafting experience

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• 2–5 years of drafting experience in civil construction, telecom infrastructure, or related projects.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings, layouts, and technical plans based on project specifications.
• Develop civil and telecom infrastructure drawings, including trenches, duct routes, handholes, manholes, and fiber-optic routes.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved modifications.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and NOC teams regarding design requirements and site changes.
• Review site measurements and technical inputs to ensure drawings reflect actual conditions.
• Provide drawings required for project execution, approvals, and technical documentation.
• Incorporate feedback from engineers, clients, and consultants into revised drawings.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and document versions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client specifications, and relevant authority requirements.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, as-built drawings, and final drawing packages for approval.
• Ensure timely updates and proper document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide drawing-related support during site execution and verification activities.
• Revise drawings based on red-line markups, site instructions, and engineering requirements.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and measurements from drawings when required.
• Support project teams in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical documentation issues.
