Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an AutoCAD Draftsman for our Dubai team to prepare accurate 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD. You will develop technical drawings from engineer and architect instructions, review project requirements, and ensure compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of AutoCAD Draftsman experience, strong reading of drawings, and familiarity with shop and as-built drawings. UAE/GCC project experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant AutoCAD Draftsman experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; reading and interpreting drawings.
• Familiarity with shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailing.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus.
• Experience with UAE/GCC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop technical drawings based on engineer/architect instructions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
• Modify drawings according to site conditions and project revisions.
• Coordinate drawings with engineering, MEP, architectural, and site teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
• Assist engineers with quantity take-offs and technical documentation when required.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors regarding drawing-related issues.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of drawings.
• Make necessary corrections based on consultant/client comments.
