Job summary

Reap HR in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Auto Mechanic Helper to support the Workshop Team. You will assist with engine assembly and disassembly, chassis work and general mechanical build tasks across ATV, UTV, and EV platforms.

The role requires 2–5 years in automotive or off-road workshops, a trade/vocational certificate preferred, and a UAE driving license is a plus. Hands-on, physically fit, and team‑oriented with basic English/Hindi communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on and reliable Auto Mechanic Helper to join the Workshop / Vehicle Assembly & Fabrication Team. The successful candidate will support engine assembly and disassembly, chassis and frame work, suspension and steering component fitting, and general mechanical build activities across ATV, UTV, and EV vehicle platforms.

• Assisting with engine assembly and disassembly
• Supporting chassis and frame fitting, alignment, and repair work
• General mechanical assist tasks across vehicle build stages

Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 2–5 years as a mechanic helper/assistant in an automotive, motorcycle, or off‑road vehicle workshop.
• Prior UTV / ATV / motorcycle workshop background is a strong advantage.
• Hands‑on exposure to engine teardown/rebuild and chassis‑level fitting work.

CORE SKILLS

• Engine assembly and disassembly (small engines; PMSM/EV drivetrain exposure a plus).
• Chassis and frame work — fitting, alignment support, bolting/torqueing to spec, basic fabrication assist.
• Suspension and steering component fitting — required.
• Ability to read ECU / wiring diagrams and perform engine start‑up and testing procedures.
• Comfortable using hand tools, torque wrenches, and basic measuring tools (calipers, feeler gauges).
• Ability to read basic assembly drawings and BOMs, and follow instructions from engineers/technicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Trade/vocational certificate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (ITI, diploma, or equivalent) preferred — not mandatory with strong hands‑on experience.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
