Job summary

MHA UAE is seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join our Dubai team. You will work closely with clients across industries, supporting audit engagements and delivering clear insights beyond the numbers.

The role requires studying ACA/ACCA or being AAT qualified with practice experience, basic tax knowledge, and familiarity with Sage, Excel, Word and CaseWare. You’ll supervise junior staff and help manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be studying ACA/ACCA or AAT qualified with practice experience.
• Basic tax knowledge and ability to prepare corporation tax computations.
• Experience supervising junior staff is preferred (6–12 months).
• Proficient with Sage, Excel, Word; CaseWare.

Responsibilities

• Assist in audits and review work papers.
• Support senior staff and supervise juniors.
• Prepare tax computations and financial statements.
• Assist in planning, risk assessment and client communication.

What We’re Looking For

• Studying professional stage ACA or ACCA, or AAT qualified and wishing to study professional stage ACA or ACCA – with experience in practice
• Basic tax knowledge – how to prepare corporation tax computations
• Computer experience – Sage, Excel, Word and ideally CaseWare
• Previous experience of supervising junior members of staff preferable (6-12 months experience)
• Good up-to-date technical knowledge including recent developments in accounting standards
• Communication – oral and written, ability to deal with variety of people in different environments
• Organised – ability to deal with a variety of tasks and managing a varied workload
