Job summary

Anix Global in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer to design and implement client-specific AV systems. You will install and calibrate projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools, while providing ongoing maintenance and user training.

The role requires hands-on AV expertise, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to collaborate with IT and project teams. Travel to various sites for installations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Audio Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• CTS/CTS-D certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of AV control systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AV systems tailored to client needs.
• Install and set up AV equipment (projectors, sound systems, video conferencing).
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems.
• Configure and calibrate equipment for optimal performance.
• Provide user training and technical support.

• Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CTS-D (Certified
• Experience with AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, Barco
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software for system layout
• Expertise in networking and IP-based AV solutions
• Strong understanding of acoustics and sound system design
• Familiarity with video production and editing software
• Project management skills and experience leading AV projects
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to stay current with evolving AV technologies
• Proven experience as an Audio-Visual Engineer or similar role
