Job summary

NMC Health​care seeks a compassionate nursing support to assist in patient care under the supervision of registered nurses at NMC Royal Hospital, DIP, Dubai. The role emphasizes patient comfort, hygiene, mobility, and adherence to infection control guidelines.

The successful candidate will be a high school graduate with intermediate English, and ideally Arabic. This is a full-time on-site position located in Dubai, AE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Intermediate English skills preferred; Arabic language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under supervision of the staff nurse.
• Respond quickly to patients' requests for assistance.
• Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, eating and drinking, and report changes to staff nurse.
• Support in bed making, sponge baths and other hygienic activities.
• Segregate soiled linen per infection control guidelines under nursing supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms and ward areas.
• Help with supply and storage area maintenance.
• Act as messenger for specimen transport, CSSD instruments and insurance purposes.
• Escort patients to Radiology and other areas as directed by the nurse on duty.
• Participate in infection prevention and control programs.
• Participate in scheduled educational activities.
• Assist in transporting patients and prepare surgical site by trimming hair.

Job description

Assist in the delivery of patient care as directedby the registered nurse. Contribute to the generalenvironment of the hospital well-being of the patient as a member of the nursing team.

Responsibilities

Assist in patient care and other ward related duties as directed by and under supervision of the staff nurse.

Respond quickly to patient’s request for assistance.

Assist with patient’s elimination, mobility, and physical comfort, eating and drinking needs while observing and reporting any specific changes to the staff nurse.

Assist the nursing staff in bed making, sponge bathing, and other hygienic activity of the patient.

Responsible for segregation of soiled linen as per infection control guide lines under the supervision of nursing personnel.

Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness in all areas including patient’s room within the unit.

Assist in the maintenance of supply and storage areas.

Act as a messenger when required- Specimen transporting, CSSD instruments, and Insurance purposes.

Escort patients to and from Radiology Department as directed by nurse on duty.

To be responsible to act as a part of infection prevention and control programs.

Participates in any scheduled educational activities

Assist in transporting patient, prepare surgical site by trimming hair.

Qualifications
