Job summary

BDO UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our UAE team. The role involves leading audit engagements, performing reviews of complex financial statements, and maintaining independent client relationships.

Candidates should have 6+ years post-qualification experience and hold a CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent. The position requires strong English communication skills, and prior Big 4 or large multinational exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-qualification audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification mandatory: CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships independently.
• Strong English communication skills: reading, writing, speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-level reviews of complex financial statements and audit engagements following IFRS and auditing standards.
• Lead preliminary client meetings and understand client business and key metrics.
• Review and sign off on audit work ensuring quality and compliance.
• Prepare and review audit reports and communicate findings to clients.
