Job summary

ABB is seeking a focused project-oriented professional in Dubai to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. You will ensure activities adhere to procedures and standards while applying basic scheduling techniques to manage risks and deadlines.

You will support project managers, coordinate with engineering, SCM, finance, and factory teams, and help drive project closing and acceptance in a dynamic, onsite role within the Motion Business Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 0-3 years’ experience in project management.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• English language is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of small to medium size projects with low complexity.
• Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization, and financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risk and opportunities.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.
• Support project engineering documentation and day-to-day coordination tasks.
• Track project actions, milestones, and schedules; coordinate shipment of materials.
