Job summary

ABB i Dubai söker en verksam projektassistent som rapporterar till Operations Manager. Du kommer att leda små projekt, följa upp framsteg, resursanvändning och ekonomiska aspekter samt stödja PMs i dagliga uppgifter.

Du arbetar onsite i Motion Business Area och samarbetar tätt med ingenjörer, SCM och ekonomi för att säkra leveranser och nätverk av kontakter. Svenska/engelska krävs och möjlighet till utveckling finns.

Qualifications

• Kandidatexamen i teknik krävs.
• 0–3 års erfarenhet av projektledning önskvärt.
• God kommunikation och villighet att lära.

Responsibilities

• Leda små till medelstora projekt
• Övervaka framsteg, resursanvändning och projektets ekonomi
• Identifiera och hantera risker samt säkerställa att möjligheter utnyttjas
• Stödja PM i dagliga uppgifter och dokumentation
• Koordinera med interna team (ingenjör, SCM, ekonomi, fabrik)
• Följa upp åtgärder, milstolpar och tidsplaner
• Koordinera leverans av material utifrån projektomfång

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively. In addition, Supporting project managers in their day-to-day project activities and documentation. The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the Motion Business Area. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading small to medium size projects
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Support project engineering documentation
• Assist PMs in day-to-day coordination tasks
• Track project actions, milestones, and schedules
• Coordinates shipment of materials based on project scope
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, SCM, finance, factory)
• Performs any other projects work as assigned.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 0-3 years’ experience in project management
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• English language is must
