Job summary

IFFCO Group is seeking an Associate Operator for Production Margarine to operate and monitor Margarine, Butter and Shortening processes. Responsibilities include plant start-up, process control, ingredient handling, and basic lab tests to ensure product quality.

The role requires coordination with QA, strict adherence to safety and quality specs, autonomous maintenance of machines, and accurate weighing of ingredients for each batch.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Margarine Machine Operator responsible for operating and monitoring process plants to produce butter, margarine, and shortening as per quality standards. Duties include plant setup, process control, ingredient handling, basic lab tests, and coordination with QA to ensure product safety and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• 1. Able to RUN GS and Chemtech process plant .
• 2. Should have knowledge of Butter /Margarine/Shortening.
• 3. Plant start up and Set up adjustment.
• 4. Should have knowledge if CIP of plant .
• 5. Check & confirm the oil release of tank from Lab .
• 6. Check lot expiry of ingredients
• 7. Lab scale trials of all skus before changeover.
• 8. Control and adjustment of process parameters.
• 9. Inspection of loose parts & tools.
• 10. Maintain activity loghseet.
• 11. Maintain machine cleaning and hygiene.
• 12. Autonomous maintenance of machines.
• 13. CCP monitoring.
• 14. Accurate Weighing & addition of ingredient in process tank .
• 15. Understand customer requirements and produce customer specific products as per Specs.
• 16.Prepare the emulsifier and water phase for butter and margarine.
• 17.Check the basic test for ready batch RI,TBHQ,Moisture ,SFC
• 18.Product change over from one to another and hot circulation
• 19.Every batch RI check and also take product sample for T&S
• 20.Moisture check of each batch in butter and margarine
• 21.Physical check and change filter
• 22.Coordinator with QA team for Quality

Work Experience Requirement

4 + Years + Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in operating margarine production lines.
