Job summary

IFFCO is seeking a skilled Margarine Machine Operator to operate and monitor process plants producing butter, margarine, and shortening per quality standards. You will handle plant setup, process control, ingredient handling, basic lab tests, and coordinate with QA to ensure product safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include startup, adjustments, CIP knowledge, CCP monitoring, accurate weighing, and customer-specific product changes, with an emphasis on hygiene and autonomous machine

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically margarine production lines.
• Technical Diploma completed and relevant process knowledge.
• Ability to operate and monitor process plants with attention to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor margarine production lines; ensure process parameters are controlled.
• Coordinate with QA for product safety, lab tests, and compliance.
• Perform plant start-up, setup adjustments, and CIP activities.
• Maintain log books, weigh ingredients accurately, and support product changeovers.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Margarine Machine Operator responsible for operating and monitoring process plants to produce butter, margarine, and shortening as per quality standards. Duties include plant setup, process control, ingredient handling, basic lab tests, and coordination with QA to ensure product safety and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Able to RUN GS and Chemtech process plant.


• Should have knowledge of Butter /Margarine/Shortening.


• Plant start up and Set up adjustment.


• Should have knowledge if CIP of plant.


• Check & confirm the oil release of tank from Lab.


• Check lot expiry of ingredients


• Lab scale trials of all skus before changeover.


• Control and adjustment of process parameters.


• Inspection of loose parts & tools.


• Maintain activity loghseet.


• Maintain machine cleaning and hygiene.


• Autonomous maintenance of machines.


• CCP monitoring.


• Accurate Weighing & addition of ingredient in process tank.


• Understand customer requirements and produce customer specific products as per Specs.


• Prepare the emulsifier and water phase for butter and margarine.


• Check the basic test for ready batch RI, TBHQ, Moisture ,SFC


• Product change over from one to another and hot circulation


• Every batch RI check and also take product sample for T&S


• Moisture check of each batch in butter and margarine


• Physical check and change filter


• Coordinator with QA team for Quality

Work Experience Requirement

4 + Years + Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in operating margarine production lines.
