Key Responsibilities
- Learn the main duties of mechanical engineering across different stages of energy and engineering projects.
- Perform basic detailed design engineering, calculations, analysis, and technical support tasks under guidance.
- Apply mechanical engineering concepts, procedures, and project standards to complete routine assignments.
- Prepare clear design calculations, reports, technical notes, and procedure-related documentation.
- Organize assigned work to meet deadlines set by senior engineers, lead engineers, or project teams.
- Communicate clearly with team members, ask questions when needed, and confirm understanding of technical instructions.
- Become familiar with project quality systems, document control requirements, engineering workflows, and technical review processes.
- Support simple equipment specification activities based on process and project requirements under lead engineer supervision.
- Apply relevant mechanical procedures, international standards, and project practices for static equipment, rotating equipment, package equipment, or special equipment as applicable.
- Assist other engineering disciplines by providing required mechanical information and supporting technical inputs.
- Carry out basic drafting-related activities, including datasheet sketches, drawing markups, and modification support.
- Support the review of seller and manufacturer drawings, documents, inspection procedures, and test procedures.
- Assist mechanical engineers and buyers with technical and commercial bid evaluation support.
- Apply relevant HSE requirements in engineering work, design decisions, and project documentation.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Entry-level candidate with conceptual knowledge of mechanical engineering theories, practices, and procedures.
- Basic understanding of engineering design, calculations, equipment documentation, and technical standards.
- Willing to learn mechanical engineering practices across static, rotating, package, and special equipment areas.
- Able to work under close supervision while following instructions, procedures, and project requirements.
- Good attention to detail when preparing calculations, reviewing documents, and supporting technical records.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to ask questions, clarify requirements, and work with engineering teams.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
