Job summary

Brainlake in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced UX Designer with strong UI capability to work across complex digital products and services. This role is UX-focused (80%) with some UI work, requiring structuring experiences, defining user flows, information architecture, and prototypes.

You will actively use AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration, wireframing, prototyping, iteration, and other parts of the design process without compromising design thinking or quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on UX design experience.
• Portfolio clearly UX-heavy with user flows and information architecture.
• Experience designing complex digital products, platforms, or services.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into simple, structured experiences.
• Proficient in Figma with Auto Layout, components, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
• Understanding of usability, accessibility, responsive design, and human-centered design.
• Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, hierarchy, spacing, layout.
• Ability to produce high-quality UI when required.
• Experience using AI-powered design tools to accelerate UX/UI tasks.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and user needs into clear UX solutions.
• Define user journeys, flows, navigation structures, and IA.
• Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes for web, mobile, and responsive experiences.
• Design complex journeys with multiple users, roles, steps, scenarios, and decisions.
• Define interaction patterns, behaviours, states, validations, and edge cases.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate and validate experience concepts.
• Identify usability issues, friction points, and unnecessary complexity and propose better solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers and service designers to translate insights into digital experiences.
• Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams to ensure solutions are practical and buildable.
• Present UX decisions and rationale clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Produce polished UI designs when required, while maintaining consistency with the wider design system.
• Contribute to design systems, components, patterns, and reusable libraries.
• Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate UX exploration, wireframing, prototyping, interface generation, and repetitive design tasks.
• Experiment with new AI design workflows that can improve speed and quality.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer with strong UI capability to work across complex digital products and services.

This is primarily a UX-focused role, with approximately 80% of the work centered on UX and 20% on UI design.

You’ll be responsible for understanding requirements, structuring experiences, defining user flows, information architecture, interactions, wireframes, and prototypes. You should also be able to take selected experiences through to polished UI when needed.

The role requires someone who can think through complex problems, simplify journeys, and make clear design decisions before moving into visual execution.

We’re also looking for someone who actively uses AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration, wireframing, prototyping, iteration, and other parts of the design process without compromising design thinking or quality.

You may work across applications, platforms, portals, websites, dashboards, and AI-enabled digital experiences.

What Youll Do

• Ability to turn ambiguous or complex requirements into simple, structured experiences
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variables, prototyping, and design systems
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, responsive design, and human-centred design principles
• Good visual design fundamentals, including typography, hierarchy, spacing, and layout
• Ability to produce high-quality UI when required, even though UI is not the primary focus of the role
