Job summary

IFFCO Group is seeking an AM QA to safeguard quality and food safety across the site. You will ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, halal/kosher considerations, and lead quality audits at finished goods.

The role involves designing QA systems for materials, in-process, and dispatch, plus training and vendor feedback for certification. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in a similar FMCG role, SAP in QA, and a GFSI lead auditor certification.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in a similar FMCG manufacturing role.
• Experience with SAP tools in Quality.
• Certification as a GFSI lead auditor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to FSSC 22000 and customer requirements.
• Ensure quality of output through intervention, inspection and testing to predefined quality parameters.
• Design and install Quality Management Systems for receipt, storage, in-process material, and dispatch of FG.
• Provide periodic feedback on vendors to the purchasing manager for vendor upgradation and certification.
• Initiate and document process activities and flow including GMP and customer requirements certification.
• Ensure integrity of quality analysis through training, instrumentation and testing protocols.
• Carry out Quality Audits of Finished Goods and institute measures for product integrity throughout shelf life.
• Ensure appropriate safety and hygiene systems are followed in all factory areas to prevent accidents and contamination.
• Investigate customer and consumer complaints to improve production and product quality.

Job description

AM QA is r esponsible for ensuring Quality and Food Safety for the site.

• Ensure compliance to FSSC 22000 and customer requirements , Well versed with Halal and Kosher requirements as well as customer audits like Yum! , McDonald's SQMS.
• To ensure quality of output through appropriate intervention, inspection and testing to pre-determined quality parameters.
• To design and Install appropriate Quality Management Systems encompassing receipt and storage of RM/PM, in process material , material handling, storage and dispatch of FG.
• To provide periodic feedback on vendors and suppliers to purchase manager for vendor upgradation and certification.
• To initiate and document process activity and flow including certification for GMP and customer requirements.
• To ensure integrity of quality analysis through appropriate training, instrumentation and testing protocols.
• To carry out Quality Audits of Finished Goods on retail shelf and institute appropriate measures for product integrity throughout its shelf life.
• To ensure appropriate systems for Safety and Hygiene are followed in all areas of the factory to prevent the occurrence of accidents, occupational illnesses and to prevent contamination of material quality.
• To investigate Customer and Consumer complaints to improve production process, product quality and functionality

• Ensure Food Safety & Quality of RM, PM & FG inprocess.
• Cost Saving / FOH Lab cost
• Adherence to Product Quality through Effective Process Control, thereby reduce customer complaints.
• Arrange and deliver trainings on GHP & Food Safety

Work experience requirement

• Have previous experience with SAP tools required in Quality.
• 5-8 years of experinece in similar role from medium to large sized FMCG manufacturing company.

Qualification

B.Tech Food Technology /Degree in Microbiology , Food Science. Should have certification for any GFSI lead auditor.
