About the job Associate Director - Real Estate Valuations & Advisory

On behalf of our client, who are one of the leading Real Estate Firms with global presence, we are currently hiring for an Associate Director.

JOB SUMMARY

To assist the Head of Valuations MENA in the preparation and review of valuation reports, ensuring that all reports comply with RICS/IVS standards and guidelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review valuation reports according to the standards required by the Company.
• Undertake site inspections as per the instructions of your line manager.
• Comply with health and safety instructions during site visits and inspections.
• Liaise with relevant client contacts, department managers and colleagues in relation to individual project requirements.
• Value residential and commercial property within the UAE by applying expert knowledge and awareness of the local property market.
• Provide informed, market facing and independent advice on residential/commercial property types.
• Reach firm and justifiable conclusions on values for work undertaken.
• Preparation of detailed reports and presentation of valuation advice to clients.
• Close liaison with clients ensuring high quality advice is consistently delivered.
• Be able to take day to day responsibility for the execution of instructions under minimum supervision.
• Manage multiple instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively.
• Work closely with senior team members on high profile instructions.
• Participate in team meetings to update colleagues on market information and market knowledge and trends.
• Collaborate with other departments internally to maintain market knowledge and cross sell opportunities.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be MRICS qualified with (or ability to attain) RICS Registered Valuer status
• Must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in the UAE within a valuation role
• Has broad knowledge of Real Estate principles and practices
• Understand what generates revenue and makes profit
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills
• Excellent reporting and organizational skills
