Job summary

Mashreq is a leading financial institution in MENA, seeking a senior corporate banking leader to drive cross-border relationships in the GCC, with emphasis on Saudi Arabia. You will oversee wholesale banking products, credit risk, and regulatory compliance while coordinating across Legal, Risk, and Treasury.

You will develop the regional business framework, grow the asset book, and provide strategic updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of corporate banking experience with GCC exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia's corporate banking landscape.
• Expertise in wholesale banking products (trade finance, cash management, FX, derivatives).
• Strong credit acumen and risk mitigation skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive origination of new-to-bank corporate relationships in Saudi Arabia.
• Manage cross-border exposure and ensure compliance with regional regulations.
• Coordinate the Saudi Arabia portfolio across Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Treasury.
• Develop and refine the Saudi Arabia business framework.
• Drive growth of the asset book and revenue generation in the region.
• Conduct due diligence and ensure transactions meet credit quality and regulatory standards.
• Provide market insights and strategic updates to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Operations, and Compliance.
