Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking an Associate (Cost Management) to join our Dubai team. You will lead cost management activities on a Mall project, working closely with a key client and a dedicated team. Previous mall experience is essential for success in this role.

You will provide pre and post contract cost management advice, manage resources and timelines, and maintain strong client relationships. The role emphasizes leadership, delivery quality, and professional representation of Currie & Brown on

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS membership preferred.
• Experience delivering technically challenging projects within a global construction consultancy.
• Middle East experience preferred.
• Strong technical report writing and clear client-facing communication skills.
• Experience across multiple sectors, mall/shopping centre exposure is essential.
• Experience in leading teams on live projects.

Job description

Currie & Brown is looking for an Associate (Cost Management) to join our team in Dubai. As an Associate you'll be working closely with a key client and leading a Mall project, therefore previous mall experience is essential for this role.

What will you be doing?

• Providing accurate pre and post contract cost management advice to our clients
• Lead a team and provide continuous development
• Delivering assignments competently and professionally
• Managing resources, cost and time effectively to ensure margins are met
• Providing regular feedback to the director on the commissions under your management.
• Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships

What do you need?

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is preferred
• Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy
• Middle East experience is preferred
• Good technical report writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
• Experience of a variety of sectors is beneficial, but previous experience of Malls / shopping centres is essential
• Experience of managing and leading others within a live project environment
