Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Assistant Storekeeper to support receiving, labeling, and moving materials across stores, paint shops, and assembly areas. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and organized documentation in a shift-based environment.

You will operate a forklift (license required), perform material checks, and ensure traceability of items while coordinating with Senior Storekeepers to maintain efficient flow and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Keep the receiving area clean, safe and well-organized at all times.
• Strictly adhere to 5SS principles within stores and receiving area.
• Receive incoming materials from the truck using a forklift.
• Unbox consignments and perform visual checks for quantity, quality, damage, or mismatches.
• Label received materials accurately for traceability.
• Hand over receiving documents to the Storekeeper for system entries.
• Scan and file all receiving documents daily.
• Move materials to designated store locations, paint shop and assembly areas as instructed by Senior Storekeepers.
• Assist in retrieving materials from primary and secondary bins.
• Support movement of kits between stores, paint shops and assembly areas.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts for KPI tracking.

Job Summary

In this role your responsibilities will be:

• Keep the receiving area clean safe and well-organized always.


• Strictly adhere to and uphold 5SS principles within the stores and receiving area.


• Receive incoming materials from the truck using a forklift.


• Unbox consignments and perform visual checks for quantity quality damage or mismatches.


• Label received materials accurately for traceability.


• Hand over receiving documents to the Storekeeper for system entries.


• Scan and file all receiving documents daily.
