Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Material Handling & Inventory Specialist in Dubai to manage material flow, inventory accuracy and timely delivery of components. You will support Kardex cycle counting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain operational excellence.

The role involves handling Kardex and Oracle transactions, performing weekly and monthly cycle counts, and ensuring safe, accurate material movements to support production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or material handling (2-3 years or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of inventory management processes and accuracy.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Description

Position Summary:

The Material Handling & Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless warehouse and production operations by managing material flow inventory accuracy and timely delivery of components. This role supports Kardex kitting cycle counting and inventory control processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence and efficiency.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

For Kardex Kitting:

• Transfer materials from the receiving area to the Kardex system.
• Assemble and accurately pick items based on the Bill of Materials.
• Coordinate replacement of damaged or non-conforming materials with suppliers.
• Label and package kits for clear identification and safe handling.
• Run replenishment reports process move orders and complete system transactions in Oracle.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to the assembly line to support production operations.
• Manage consumables and Kanban inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of Kanban materials.
• Perform physical picking and packing for shipments to AMMC.
• Monitor system alerts for unissued parts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support redlight tool processes to address inventory-related issues.

For Cycle Count:

• Conduct weekly cycle counts for raw materials to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform monthly cycle counts for press production inventory.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as missing or excess stock.
• Maintain accurate records in the Kardex system to ensure traceability.
• Process scrap transactions within the system.
• Adhere to Health Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role You Will Need:

• A bachelors degree diploma or equivalent experience in business engineering logistics or supply chain.
• Experience in warehouse operations or material handling (typically 23 years or equivalent practical exposure).
• Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Certifications in supply chain management forklift operation or related fields.
• Experience in improving warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of health safety and environmental practices within warehouse environments.
