Job summary

Independent Food Company in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, maintain food quality and safety, and help achieve sales goals.

You will supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, train new employees, schedule shifts, manage attendance, handle cash and daily reports, and assist with inventory and compliance to boost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Schedule employee shifts and manage attendance.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food and labor costs.
• Handle cash management, register balancing, and daily sales reports.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and employee performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Help achieve sales targets and improve operational efficiency.
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager during absences.
