Job summary

Abdul Rahim Architectural Consultants is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Site Supervisor in Dubai. The candidate will conduct site inspections, ensure quality and safety compliance, and oversee contractor execution on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality progress and safety compliance.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Monitor contractor's execution against baseline program, resources, and productivity.
• Verify and sign off on Inspection & Test Plans, ITPs, Material Approval Requests, MARs and quality control documents.
• Inspect and approve structural, architectural and MEP works including excavation, concrete, steel, finishes and installations.
• Assist in drafting and following up on Site Instructions (SIs), NCRs and Warning Letters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of approvals, sign-offs and compliance issues.
• Support RE in preparing weekly/monthly reports, risk registers, KPIs and contract administration tasks.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings preparing minutes and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with authorities for permits, approvals and NOCs.
• Assist in variation order assessments, claims evaluation and procurement monitoring.
• Conduct pre-handover inspections, prepare snag lists and verify closure of defects.

Qualifications
