Job summary

Antal International, in Dubai, seeks an experienced Assistant Manager – QA/QC to lead quality control across glass processing operations. You will manage the QA/QC team, ensure compliance with ISO standards, conduct audits, and drive improvements to meet customer specifications and international quality benchmarks.

The role requires a mechanical or chemical engineering background, 7–9 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 7–9 years of relevant experience in glass processing or related manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing a QA/QC team.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality audits, and quality management systems.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawings.
• Experience with fire-rated doors and systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control across glass cutting, tempering, digital printing, lamination, IGU manufacturing, and dispatch.
• Lead the QA/QC team and ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Operations, suppliers, and customers on quality-related matters.
• Monitor quality performance, reduce rejection rates, and drive continuous improvement.
• Train production teams and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
