Job summary

Anson Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Project Support Engineer to assist the Project Manager in planning and executing Solar PV projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and HSE teams to keep schedules and resources aligned.

You will monitor site activities, prepare progress reports, identify risks, and help implement corrective actions. Strong English skills and experience in EPC or renewables are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Solar PV projects is mandatory.
• GCC experience is mandatory, preferably UAE experience.
• Strong construction/project management background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing Solar PV projects.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower, materials and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients and other stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Identify risks, delays and issues and help implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE GCC construction safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Attend project and site coordination meetings as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in Solar PV projects is mandatory.GCC experience is mandatory, preferably UAE experience.Strong construction/project management background is highly preferred.Experience in EPC, renewable energy, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.Good knowledge of project planning, site execution, subcontractor coordination, and project reporting.Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Good command of English, both written and spoken.Proficiency in MS Office and project management/planning tools.
