Job summary

Ali & Sons is seeking a motivated Parts Counter Sales professional in Dubai to welcome customers, identify correct spare parts, advise on part numbers and pricing, and prepare quotes, orders, and invoices. You will support the Parts Advisor, ensure policy compliance, and help maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse systems.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in automotive parts sales or related roles, with a diploma in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in automotive spare parts sales, parts counter operations, warehouse operations, or a similar customer service role.
• Previous experience in an automotive dealership or spare parts environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally and provide friendly counter sales support.
• Assist customers by identifying correct spare parts and advising on part numbers, pricing, availability, and product specifications.
• Provide guidance on the proper use, care, and application of automotive parts and accessories.
• Prepare accurate parts quotations, estimates, delivery orders, and sales invoices.
• Support the Parts Advisor in processing customer orders efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Follow established credit sales procedures and monitor customer credit terms within the Parts Dealer Network.
• Learn and apply company policies relating to parts returns, warranties, and delivery schedules for both customers and workshop technicians.
• Coordinate with the Ordering Section to source requested parts, monitor lead times, and communicate delivery updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate sales records and inventory transactions using computerized warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Prepare and monitor Lost Sales Reports to identify customer demand and improve parts availability.
• Support inventory control activities by maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stock management processes.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining attractive accessories and product displays.
• Ensure the parts counter and work area remain clean, organized, and professional at all times.
• Build positive working relationships with workshop staff, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Procurement & Stores Manager.

Role Purpose

To support the Procurement & Stores department by assisting the Parts Advisor in meeting customer and workshop spare parts requirements, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing parts transactions efficiently, and contributing to exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in automotive spare parts sales, parts counter operations, warehouse operations, or a similar customer service role.
• Previous experience in an automotive dealership or spare parts environment is preferred.

Education:

• Diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

Languages:

• Fluency in English is essential.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.

Software Skills:

• Computer literate with strong knowledge of computerized warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and dealership management systems is an advantage.
