Job summary

GMG is seeking an experienced project manager to transform interior spaces for retail fit-out projects in Dubai. You will oversee planning, coordinate teams and suppliers, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You will liaise with clients to align needs, manage budgets, and maintain rigorous quality and reporting throughout the lifecycle. The role requires 6-7 years in retail, F&B, and supermarket projects and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of retail fitout projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Serve as primary client liaison to meet needs and expectations.
• Develop and manage project budgets with cost tracking.
• Ensure quality through site inspections and compliance.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
• Maintain attention to detail and resolve issues promptly.
• Adapt to changes and unexpected challenges.
• Foster strong client relationships and service.

This role involves transforming interior spaces to meet specific design and functionality needs, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the clients satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Management: Oversee all phases of retail fitout projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Team Coordination: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications, conducting regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in all aspects of the project.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

People Management :

The incumbent holds no direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to engage effectively within their function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role contributes meaningfully, whether through operational contributions and/or by offering specialized expertise, guidance, and support, to ensure alignment with either functional and/or strategic organizational goals and objectives.
