Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite marine insurance risks for cargo transit and marine-related business.
• Review insurance applications, risk information, claims history and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate risk exposures and recommend coverage terms, conditions and pricing.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements, renewals and policy documentation.
• Liaise with brokers, clients and internal departments regarding underwriting requirements and risk assessments.
• Monitor underwriting performance and maintain records in company systems.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Support business development with underwriting expertise and market insights.
• Deliver timely service while maintaining underwriting quality and profitability.
• Assist with portfolio management and risk improvement initiatives.
