Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) invites applications for a Life Insurance Underwriter in Dubai. You will assess applications per underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements, reviewing medical, financial, occupational and lifestyle data to determine risk acceptability and coverage terms.

You will liaise with brokers, sales teams, providers and customers to obtain information, ensure timely processing of new business and renewals, maintain accurate records, and contribute underwriting

Qualifications

• Emirati national with Family Book (Emirati) – mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Insurance or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic credentials and interest in Life Insurance can be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate life insurance applications in line with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Review medical, financial, occupational and lifestyle information to determine risk acceptability.
• Approve, decline, postpone or modify coverage terms based on underwriting assessments and delegated authority levels.
• Liaise with brokers, intermediaries, sales teams, medical providers and customers to obtain additional underwriting information when required.
• Ensure timely processing of new business, renewals, endorsements and policy amendments.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and documentation within internal systems.
• Support product development by providing underwriting insights and market feedback.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, underwriting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to departmental service levels and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Work collaboratively with claims operations and sales teams to support business growth and retention.
