Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking an Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner to collaborate with line managers on people strategies and foster a high-performing culture.

You will drive performance cycles, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations across a dynamic entertainment portfolio in Dubai.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • HR certification preferred (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in generalist HR or HRBP capacity.
  • Experience handling end-to-end HR processes independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for HR analytics and reporting.
  • Experience using HRMS/HRIS platforms such as Oracle Fusion or SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with compensation & benefits administration and payroll workflows.
  • Ability to prepare and analyse HR dashboards and reports using Excel or BI tools.
  • Skilled in drafting HR policies, employee communications, and SOPs.
  • Experience in recruitment lifecycle tools and ATS.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with line managers to identify people-related priorities and align HR plans with business goals.
  • Coordinate performance management cycles, support calibration sessions, and track action plan implementation.
  • Implement and manage recognition frameworks and reward programs.
  • Develop and roll out engagement initiatives like team building and wellness programs.
  • Address employee concerns with policy-aligned investigations and conflict management.
  • Support positive work culture through open communication and wellbeing.
  • Assist in manpower planning, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and immersion programs.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support for transactions like transfers and contract renewals.
  • Ensure HR policies are adhered to; maintain documentation and audit readiness.
  • Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and talent analytics for decision-making.
  • Coordinate learning programs and post-program evaluations.
  • Assist in benefits programs, benchmarking, and annual salary review processes.
  • Support change management and organizational restructuring initiatives.

Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner- Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Partner with line managers to identify people-related priorities and ensure alignment of HR plans with business goals.
  • Coordinate performance management cycles, support talent calibration sessions, and track implementation of action plans.
  • Implement and manage recognition frameworks and reward programs that reinforce a culture of appreciation and performance excellence.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and roll out tailored engagement initiatives such as team building activities, wellness programs, and cross-functional collaboration campaigns.
  • Address employee concerns through timely resolution, policy-aligned investigations, and conflict management in coordination with legal and compliance teams
  • Support the organisation’s commitment to a positive work culture by promoting open communication and employee wellbeing.
  • Support manpower planning, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and immersion programs for new joiners.
  • Provide day-to-day operational HR support to business units and HR team, ensuring timely execution of transactions such as transfers, contract renewals, and HR letters.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to; maintain accurate documentation and support audit readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain HR dashboards, employee data reports, and talent analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate learning programs by managing nominations, logistics, and post-program evaluations.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, benchmarking, and coordinating annual salary review cycles.
  • Support change management initiatives, organizational restructuring activities, and contribute to improving employee experience across business units.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field
  • HR certification preferred (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in generalist HR or HRBP capacity
  • Experience in handling end-to-end HR processes independently
