Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking an Associate Director - Human Capital to partner with senior leaders in shaping people strategies that drive growth, performance, and cultural transformation across the organisation.

You will lead workforce planning, organisational design, leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement across multiple business units while guiding large-scale change and ensuring UAE labour compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA highly regarded.
• Significant experience in senior HR business partnering or leadership.
• Proven success partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic people initiatives.
• Strong expertise in workforce planning, organisational development, talent management, succession planning, engagement, and change management.
• Experience leading transformation and managing complex people-related challenges.
• Strong analytical capabilities with workforce data to influence decisions.
• Solid understanding of UAE labour legislation, governance, compliance, and employee relations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.
• Experience leading and developing teams and fostering collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR systems advantageous.

About the Role

Here’s your opportunity to join Dubai Holding Entertainment as an Associate Director - Human Capital, where you will act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, shaping and delivering people strategies that support business growth, organisational performance, and cultural transformation across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic human capital guidance that supports business objectives and long-term growth.
• Lead the development and execution of people strategies, ensuring alignment between workforce priorities and organisational goals.
• Drive workforce planning, organisational design, and operating model effectiveness across multiple business units.
• Oversee succession planning and leadership pipeline initiatives, ensuring readiness for critical roles and future business needs.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver talent reviews, leadership development programmes, and capability-building initiatives that strengthen organisational leadership.
• Lead performance management initiatives, embedding frameworks that drive accountability, high performance, and business results.
• Champion employee engagement and culture transformation programmes, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and future-ready workplace.
• Provide strategic leadership on large-scale change, transformation, restructuring, and integration initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder alignment and risk management.
• Guide complex employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labour legislation.
• Leverage workforce analytics and people insights to inform decision-making, monitor organisational health, and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Centres of Excellence across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and other Human Capital functions to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team, building capability and ensuring exceptional service delivery across the business.

About You

The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercially minded HR leader who can influence senior stakeholders, lead transformation, and deliver impactful people solutions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree or MBA will be highly regarded.
• Significant experience within Human Capital, including several years in a senior HR Business Partnering or HR leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders and driving strategic people initiatives that support business performance.
• Strong expertise in workforce planning, organisational development, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and change management.
• Proven experience leading organisational transformation and managing complex people-related challenges.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to utilise workforce data and insights to influence decision-making and business outcomes.
• A solid understanding of UAE labour legislation, governance, compliance, and employee relations practices.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all organisational levels.
• Experience leading and developing teams, fostering collaboration, capability building, and a high-performance culture.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience using collaboration and HR systems considered advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Additional language capabilities, including Arabic, would be beneficial.
• A proactive, discreet, and solutions-oriented approach, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering excellence.
